Costa Rica Vienna Roast

Our Costa Rican coffee is grown in the Tarrazu region about 70 kilometers south of the Capital San Jose. Costa Rica, South of Nicaragua in Central America, has a long and rich history of coffee production. Because of its more stable economy and excellent growing conditions, Costa Rican coffee has historically commanded a higher price on the open market. The highest quality coffee is grown at altitudes of 3900-5200 ft such as that from this region. The coffee is grown in sedimentary soil, at high altitudes under shade canopy and in ideal conditions which constributes to the lower acidity and the clean finish of the coffee.
